Procedures - Wound Care

You can now document the same Wound Care procedure Actions that you can on ZOLL emsCharts Web.

Procedures - Operations

You can now document the following for Operations procedures:

• Complications

• Response

• Size of the procedure equipment used (if any)

• Authorization

Vitals - SpCO Pertinent Negatives

If your Service is configured to use Pertinent Negatives, you can now document them for SPCO on the Advanced Vitals screen.

Close Chart - Data Validations

The Close Chart page will now display all errors and warnings for NEMSIS and custom-defined Validation Rules. Previously, only one set of Rules was initially displayed.

Close Chart - Electronic Signatures

You can now navigate to the Signatures > Electronic Signatures tab when clicking on a related error on the Close Chart page.

Followup - Hospital Diagnosis

The Hospital Diagnosis field has been added to the Followup page.

Drug/Alcohol Indicators

Drug/Alcohol Indicators have been updated to be consistent with how they are captured in ZOLL emsCharts Web.

Remote Admin Tool

Administrators will now see the link for the new Remote Admin Tool under Configuration. To use the Remote Admin Tool, each ZOLL emsCharts for Windows device must be updated to the current version of the emsCharts Windows Background Service. Please see Remote Admin Tool for more information.

Procedures - Immobilization

The Immobilization procedure Assessment and Site selections will now properly save when the PCR is uploaded to ZOLL emsCharts Web.

Procedures - Intubation

The Intubation procedure Distance and Indication selections will now properly save when the PCR is uploaded to ZOLL emsCharts Web.

Procedures - Blood Administration

The Blood Administration procedure Comments and Implied/Emergent Transfusion Consent selection will now properly save when the PCR is uploaded to ZOLL emsCharts Web.

CMS Service Level

We fixed an issue that prevented the CMS Service Level from saving properly when the PCR was uploaded to ZOLL emsCharts Web.

Chart Defaults

ZOLL emsCharts for Windows now supports defaults for the following Assessments:

Configuration: ZOLL emsCharts Web > Configuration > Command Fac. > Chart Defaults

• Mental and Neurological

• Pupils/Motor/Sensory

• Respiratory/Cardio

• Secondary Survey Skin and General

Application not performing database updates

We fixed an issue that was preventing ZOLL emsCharts for Windows devices from not updating successfully in certain scenarios.

We are aware of the following issues and are working to resolve them in an upcoming release:

• NEMSIS 3.5: ZOLL emsCharts for Windows is not yet updated for NEMSIS 3.5 and cannot generate NEMSIS 3.5 data. You must upload your charts and complete them in ZOLL emsCharts Web to generate and validate NEMSIS 3.5 data.

• ZOLL Cloud EKG Import unexpected error: If the EKG Report Image Type for your service is set to anything other than 'Default (Leave as JPG, Bitmap)', users will receive an "Unexpected error" when trying to import into ZOLL emsCharts for Windows. Administrators can update this setting in the Web EKG Configuration code table.

• Multiple brands of EKG devices: If you use both ZOLL EKG devices and other manufacturers' devices, you will need two instances of ZOLL emsCharts for Windows installed.

• Windows on ARM is not currently supported. For example, Microsoft Surface Pro X devices. For more information about Windows on ARM, see Microsoft's Windows Arm-based PCs FAQ.
